Hi and welcome to another blog. In today's post, I will be analysing as to why apps like Tik Tok and Pubg. If you are seeing this, I have a challenge for you. Become a member of the website. Also, if you have been hit by the PUBG ban check this out: https://neilsudhalkar.wixsite.com/thedailydose/post/so-what-if-pubg-mobile-gets-banned
Anyways, since these apps have been banned by the government, several competitors have come out wanting their own slice of the pie. Instagram came out with the popular feature 'reels' and Akshay Kumar with 'FAUG'. But as the players have so many options, they are getting divided and all of them are rooting for the return of the original app. It is important for us to understand as to why these apps were so popular. Before that, let's take a look at the story of a Tik Tok influencers.
He used to make 150 rupees a day when he used to work as a farmer. Then he made content on Tik Tok and made 40 thousand rupees a month. Now, he is back to 150 rupees a month as the app is banned. Many people ask the question- why didn't they switch to reels or other platforms. This is why it is extremely important to understand what Tik Tok was based on. As content creators were confused, they hassled everyone to many platforms. Even if they didn't, and asked their communities to only head for one the following situation happened. Mr X hassled the community to 'CHINGARI' and Mr Y hassled them to 'reels by Instagram'. Many fail to understand that the majority of creators use a simple mobile phone to consume and create content. Furthermore, 60% of Indians use their mobile data to consume content. Therefore consumers can't download several apps so they pick their favourite creators and go with them. For example, Mr Riyaz had 43 million followers on Tik Tok! Now he has only 9 million. *only refers in comparison to the original number. As small startups expand, It may all go in vain if Tik Tok returns. The reason why many love Tik Tok is that it had a big platform, several languages, fewer resources needed, less data, no high-end smartphones needed. Therefore Tik Tok is the leader in the market and most likely, will be in the near future. "It is easier to create clones but harder to follow the business model".
PUBG was one of the most popular mobile games. The game featured regular updates and popular opportunities. It is important to also know how the players of PUBG are extremely loyal and defensive toward their game. Yes, it's true and therefore there is not much competition in there for them. Part 2 on PUBG is to be made soon!
Until then:
Bye!
