You may have seen the meme below. This meme does make sense but it does not reflect in the mood of the nation. It’s clear that India is awaiting the results of the United States elections and many think that the next president of the states will affect India greatly.

The United States is arguably the most influential country due to its military and economy. Many believe that Trump is the best person for India but in this article, I aim to contradict that argument and also give you a fresh perspective.

China

If Mr Trump comes to power, he will likely continue his support to India. Many experts suggest that this may stop and it may be the truth. Given the hypocritical nature of Mr Trump, it isn’t out of the question.

If Mr Biden comes to power, he will likely have a similar approach as the mood of the States is calling for that and I think it will reflect in the government’s approach.

Trade

Mr Trump is a person who wants to make some dollars. Therefore, he is putting up a huge fight against India. In trade… According to him, a 100% tariff is ridiculous and, therefore, put up a big show about how India is hogging all the money.

I think that Mr Biden will have a more lenient approach.

Human Rights

In the Human rights aspect, India is one of the worst. In this matter, Mr Biden is not as good as Mr Trump. Mr Trump’s government has done a negligible amount of work against Human Right abuses in India and his very own country. Mr Biden on the other hand is more liberal and hence will raise his voice about human rights issues if he gets elected.

*Worse as India thinks that Human rights are a matter which is its problem.

I didn’t mention the INDO-PAK issue as it is common knowledge that both parties need India and Pakistan to fight in Afghanistan.
