How did this comment explode in popularity?

There was a video posted by the youtube channel called "slayy point" called "why the comment section is garbage". In the video, they talked about how people posted garbage comments and one of them, was the above. They also ranted on how it got 7 likes. This may just be one of the most bizarre trends of 2020. Lets just fast forward a little.

This meme took twitter by storm. People started spamming Binod. Everywhere. Right from twitch streamers live chat, WhatsApp groups to people dm's, Binod exploded in popularity. Trust me when I say this. Even the police talked about 'Binod'.
